We're still here!

I apologize for the long lapse in blog updates!  Life with four busy boys leaves little time for posting, but we've had some great experiences and have captured some great pictures in the past four months, so it is time for a post!

January

The highlights of January included having a great visit with Jake here after Christmas, having my German brother Chris here for a visit (he stayed with our family as an exchange student years ago), exploring some new parts of Utah, including iron smelting "hives", and going for sled rides behind our friends' 4-wheelers after a big snow!  The boys LOVED it!

February

Our February highlights included seeing new puppies being born at our friends' house and then watching the litter grow into cuteness, having Grammy and Papa here for a fun visit and then having a huge snow storm that kept them here a little longer, coaching Jack's basketball team and cheering them on to a season with only two losses, and celebrating Toby's 13th birthday!

March

In March, our sweet friends gave us the last three days of their time share in Carlsbad, California - thus making Toby's long-time dream of going to the beach come true!  All four boys LOVED every minute of beach time!  We also celebrated our fourth annual Passover Seder - one of our favorite days of the entire year!

April

And in April, we celebrated Christ's Resurrection, took a trip to Salt Lake and visited the Hill Air Force Base Museum and hosted our dear friends, Akli and Melody and their baby just one month before they head overseas as missionaries - what a precious time!

Whew!  We are enjoying the beauty of spring in Utah (though that often means freezing temperatures and snow) and are getting ready for a busy May!  Lots of family visits from Phoenix, George having his tonsils out on May 8th, finishing up Jack's baseball season and getting ready for summer!

Praising the Lord for His good and perfect gifts!
