After one year serving with Boys Town in San Antonio, we said goodbye to our boys on July 15th and settled into our own house north of San Antonio. It was really hard to leave our boys - we had really good relationships with them and enjoyed our time as Family Teachers. However, we knew God was calling us to take a new step of faith as we prepare for Jack's arrival in November. Here are a few shots of our Boys Town kids. Please keep them in your prayers as they adjust to new Family Teachers and get ready for the new school year. 
From July 18th - August 1st, we were able to spend time visiting Kamie's family in Phoenix, Arizona. The first weekend was a family reunion, with Jeff and Meredith (Kamie's sister and brother-in-law) and their two new babies from Ethiopia, Luke and Ben. It was wonderful to get to know our new nephews and give them lots of hugs and kisses. There was also a nice baby shower and a chance for the Kerger side of the family to share in the excitement about baby Jack!
