We had a wonderful time in Phoenix from May 23-June 4th. Jack did well on another long road trip and discovered the joys of his first teething biscuit! (He doesn't have teeth yet, but he loves to "gum" food to a pulp!) Jack has now been in twelve states!
Jack loved playing with Aunt Katie (who is a great aunt!) and almost always had a smile for Uncle Nick (who Jack looks a lot like!)
We got to visit our dear friend, Joe Cicchinelli and even had a chance to spend an evening with him at his home. Joe is a World War II veteran who served as a paratrooper in Europe. Kamie got to help edit some of his story for him...something he's wanted to do for a long time. "GOYA" Joe loved baby Jack!
We had a wonderful visit with the Sulaver family, friends who came from Yugoslavia in 1998 and settled in Phoenix. It is always such a joy to visit with them....great food, wonderful friendship. Tatjana graduated from high school and is off to Arizona State University. Zoran and Zorica are each wonderful, polite kids. And Zdravko and Jasminka proved they were still natural parents with a baby in their arms. Jack loved them!
Here is Jack in the arms of his great-Grandma Jean...the only great grandparent he will ever meet this side of heaven. We are so grateful to have Aunt Gentry here with us for a few weeks. She made the trip with us from Phoenix (with Mr. Darcy as her driving companion), is here to help us pack up and drive to Ohio and then will spend a week with us on the farm. We love her and couldn't do this without her help. It isn't much of a fun vacation for a college student....packing and taking care of a teething baby...but we know it will build memories for our kids with their auntie! Thanks Gentry!
Our next post will be from Ohio! Love you and miss you all!

Even though I already know about your busy month...reading about it made me tired all over again! Hang in there...a nice quiet summer on the farm is what you all need to rest and revive. We love and miss you, too...the house is miserably quiet...sigh!
Hugs and Kisses, Mom K...Grammy
Jack has had many adventures for a 7 month old! We can't wait to see you all again. Love ya
We miss you all so much! Luke and Ben ask about Baby Jack every morning, and every time we are shopping and they see a white baby they ask if it is Baby Jack! Love you!
