We had a nice visit with "Grammie Barb" (as Jack calls her) for a little over a week, before she had to return home to Ohio. It was so nice for her to be able to spend time with all four of her grandkids together...and she was a trooper, putting up with the hot, humid weather! As always, we enjoyed lots of good treats and shopping, but the best part was spending her last day in downtown Willemstad. We saw the colorful buildings and the old Rif Fort, used to fight off pirates. We walked across the floating pontoon bridge, stopped by the floating fish market and vegetable stands with sellers from South America selling their goods. And we stopped at a water-front cafe for some drinks and to watch the big ships and tugboats go by. This was a part of Curacao we hadn't really experienced before, so it was great.
We love you and miss you, Grandma Barb! See you in about a month...in a cooler, greener climate!

Looks like a fun filled day with Grandma!
Glad the kids got some fun time with Chong! It still amazes me how tall and grown up Jake and Sarah look!!
