Love and Joy!

On this day to celebrate love....

 

...the Meyer family would like to joyfully announce....

 

...that we have a new baby on the way!!!!!!!!



 

We are really excited about this new "little love", due right at the beginning of October.  (We are kind of hoping that since we already have three October birthdays in our family, this little one might sneak in at the end of September!)

 

So far, just about everyone we know is hoping for a little girl for our family - but we trust God's perfect wisdom in designing our family and will be thrilled with another boy to add to the mix, or a much-desired little sister for Sarah. 

 

Although medical care here isn't quite as trustworthy as in the U.S., I was happy to have the doctor do our very first (and earliest ever!) ultrasound when I was only about 5 weeks along.  (Please disregard the fact that the doctor thinks my name is Karen!)   Seeing that tiny circle of life at just the very beginning of its journey was really something special. 

 

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of this new life!
