Summer sibling fun!

We are a little over one week into our summer together as a family and we are having a great time!  The siblings have reconnected, as usual.  It is not uncommon to hear George say, "I wanna weep with Yaya!"  (Translation: "I want to sleep with Sarah!") Or to hear Jack constantly asking Jake to watch what he is doing or help him play something.

The kids have been a great help to me.  At 25 weeks along (pregnancy update to follow), I'm beginning to slow down and feel more tired, so having two extra big kids around to help out has really been great.  It is a challenge having six people in a 600 square foot house!  We spend lots of time outdoors in our Intex pool, taking walks, going to the beach when Dad is home and carrying on our previous tradition of afternoon "tea time"!  Nighttime finds all four kids (and sometimes Mama, too) in one bedroom - Jake and Sarah on bunk beds we borrowed from our missionary friends, Jack and George together in a bed and all of us listening to this summer's first read aloud: Bruchko by Bruce Olson.

Here are just a few photos of our summer so far.  More to follow!

Hope you are all having a wonderful summer, too!
