I am so humbled and blessed by this calling of motherhood. It doesn't take Mother's Day to get me feeling reflective about the enormity of this task. I treasure these little people God has put in my life and am so grateful for all the Lord has done through me and in me to teach me more about Himself in this motherhood journey.
On a lighter note...my sister Meredith sent me a very funny Mother's Day card. It said, "Children are like dishes. Sometimes you need to just hose them off and call it a day." :-) With these three little boys, that is often true. While we had a few weeks of sickness, they are back to their normal, energetic selves. Here are a few photos to prove the veracity of that card's message! (In this photo, Jack decided he wanted to take a bath like Almanzo did in the book Farmer Boy. He even had me hang his clothes up on a line with the old style of clothes pins, saying, "It has to look like the 1890s." This kid!!)
Busy at play...all...day...long. Even Mom and Dad's bed becomes part of their imaginative play.
And with all that play, is it any wonder that the littlest one would just conk out on his brother's shoulder? :-)
Our boys have inherited Josh's love for action photo shots! Even Joe got in on the action this time!
We send out love and hugs to our own wonderful mothers on this day, too! We are so grateful for your love and care in our lives and hope you feel loved and blessed on this day and always!

I am laughing out loud with that action shot of Joe's!!! Happy belated mother's day!
I too, had to laugh at the shot of Joe running and then his backside up on the cushion. What a trio of troopers you have to love on! You are certainly blessed!!
