Christmas in the Air!

Well, after lamenting the fact that 75 degree weather yesterday didn't feel much like Christmas, we got quite a surprise! By late afternoon, a cold wind picked up, we had thunder and freezing rain by night time and when we awoke this morning, a dusting of snow!! In Texas! :-) (Nothing like our Delaware winters...but just enough to feel wintery!) Josh had to go to work, but Jack and Kamie crawled back in bed to cuddle the morning away.

In between taking care of Jack, we've had some time to put up a few Christmas decorations and are excited about celebrating Christ's birth as a family in our cozy home. (Notice we have kept with Brinton-Kerger tradition and put up red, blue, green lights!)

Today, Jack is one month old! Though the days and nights are sometimes long, the time really has gone by quickly and we are trying to savor all the little nuances of Jack's time as a newborn. Jack had his first bath last night and absolutely loved the warm water and kicking his legs! We're working on gaining some weight...he seems to be putting all his calories into length rather than weight...long legs like Mom and Dad! Jack also loves being held by Daddy and has found some loving, warm bodies in our cats - Mr. Darcy and Annabelle. They curl up on the bed with us during nap time and at night and don't seem to mind our new little person one bit!

Love you all!
-Josh, Kam, Jake, Sarah and Jack
