A Growing Boy

In keeping with a Brinton-Kerger family tradition, we had our Jack pose in an oversized Christmas stocking...which he seemed to like at first, but then changed his mind! We think he's just about the best and cutest Christmas present we could ever have!


We've found that Jack loves to be held and "worn" in a baby sling. Here is Josh holding a very content Jack in our new Balboa sling.


Jack has been smiling since the beginning of December, but every time we whip out the camera, the smiles seem to cease. We finally caught a partial smile on film! His grins are enough to melt your heart!


Jack has been growing like crazy! He finally looks like he is filling out a little. He weighed 9 lbs 7 oz at the pediatrician's office last week...he had gained 15 oz in one week! Overnight, he outgrew his newborn size diapers and is now into his 3-6 month size clothes!


We had a nice visit on Sunday, December 12th from one of our former Boys Town kids, Cody Nell and his adoptive mom. Cody is doing very well in his new home and school and we are so proudofof him. It was so neat for him to get to meet Jack!
