After playing outside for quite a while, we were invited into the home of our Iraqi friends, where we met the mother and had nice conversation while the five kids entertained Jack! He is amazingly at home with these dear people. The kids hug on him, feed him yogurt, take him outside to play, carry him around...and he is fine with it all!
The night before Valentine's Day, we tried to take some self-family-portraits! We used the big mirror in the room to try to get a good shot....but instead, we came out with this hillarious picture of Jack's expression! (Josh's pose is rather comical, too!)
Another thing to celebrate was finding out that we will have a new little "love" in our lives by October! Yes, we are expecting baby #2 and couldn't be happier. Please pray for us as we prepare for Jack and I to leave Qatar on March 12th, spend time in Germany and then head home, hopefully on a military Space A flight. Josh's contract is still uncertain...he could be joining us in Germany at the beginning of April or flying to us in Ohio at the beginning of June. Another separation is hard to think about, but we think it is the best thing for our family right now.
Sending love and hugs from Qatar,
Josh, Kam, Jack and Baby #2

YAY!!! Baby #2 is awesome news! That is so sweet that you shared Valentine's with all Jack's friends. Who knew that a 1 year old could be so popular :)
Jack is quite the social butterfly, who would have known. I can't wait to meet little C or little G! Tessa wants to play now!
Congratulations!!!! Looks like you had a wonderful Valentine's Day and truly showing what the day is all about!
