Happy 2nd Birthday Georgie!

It is hard for us to believe that our baby is now two years old!  Here are some photos of him as a newborn and on his first birthday....he sure has changed...but is just as cute as ever!

Our Georgie is such a delight.  His smile and generally happy mood brighten up our world in countless ways.  He is much like Jack in his intensity, curiosity and enthusiasm for life.  But he is definitely his own little person.  His greatest loves are:  Mommy and Daddy, playing with his cars for hours on end, Thomas the Train, riding in the pick up truck and honking the horn, reading, taking baths and playing with Jack - his best friend.  He weighs 28 pounds and is 2'11" which puts him smack in the 50th percentile.  His last two year molars made their appearance this week...just in time for his second birthday!  His speech has exploded recently and he jabbers away constantly.  Our favorite Georgie phrases/words are:  "Be right back",  "Ba-" (his name for Grandma Barb for some reason), "A-baw" (his name for Annabelle the cat), "Yeah!" (said in a high pitched excited tone), and colors "byu" and "ra" (blue and red). We love him so much and thank the Lord for the gift of his precious life! 

We are waiting to have cake and presents when Josh gets here later this week.  But to celebrate, he had a birthday waffle breakfast, went to church with Mommy where all our church family members wished him a happy birthday and went on an outing to the store with Mommy to get a balloon.  Here he is enjoying his waffle...

 And...waiting for Daddy to come home on Wednesday to hug his new two-year old son!  We miss you, Daddy!  Can't wait to see you!
