The Rest of Gentry's Visit

Well, due to TWO cancelled flights in one week, we were blessed with five extra days of Gentry!!!! (Who but Gentry would have two cancelled flights in one week??!!) We spent our last week/days together enjoying more of Ohio fall weather. We went to Amish country and stopped at a farm/petting zoo...the boys, especially Jack, were in heaven feeding the animals and playing farmers. (Check out those pumpkins...$60 each!) Gentry was in her heaven when she got to ride horses with our neighbor, Cindy. Jack is already a horseman...loving to ride and "go faster!" and even learning how to brush the horses down. George took his first ride with Gentry, but didn't seem too sure of himself. And at the end of this week, we drove to see the Newark Earthworks - a collection of earth mounds built over 2000 years ago by the Hopewell Indians who lived in this area. It was just a beautiful spot...fall colors aplenty and hills for Jack to roll down!

We've had a wonderful time with Gentry. We'd like to keep her longer...but we are praying her flight gets out as scheduled today so that she can return home. (Sure the Phoenix cousins are missing Aunt Gentry by now!)

I love the picture of Jack running along the fence. The boys would have been able to fit into those pumpkins. Enjoy your fall for us!
