Enjoying our Ohio Spring Break

Our week together as a family on the farm is going by quickly, but we are enjoying every minute! We've been blessed with some genuine snow, much to all of our delight!

As always, our four kids come together as siblings as if no time has passed since our last visit!  It is such a special thing to see.

When we arrived, there were still a few small piles of snow on the ground...so we got a few photos of Georgie's first exposure to snow, not knowing we'd have a full snow shower to enjoy later in the week!  We've been able to visit our neighbor friends with horses, take a drive to Amish country and enjoy a visit from my old Air Force buddy, Cathy and her mom, who drove down from Michigan.

But I think the highlight of this time together will be the memory-making in the snow!  Jack rushed out to make a snow angel, something he saw in a book and was very eager to try!  He and Sarah worked hard to gather enough snow to make a small (but somewhat evil-looking) snowman.  It has just been so wonderful - such a cozy thing to be curled up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate, a blanket and all the kids around.  We are really grateful!

We have two more days, so there will probably be additional photos to come, but we wanted to share these special shots!

So cute! Although, the surfer dudes look a little out of place in snow! :)Did Jack put some snow in his pocket to save for later too? Loved this video!

Oh my goodness...what fun!! I adore that video, although it made me miss the farm so bad! Those will definitely be great last memories to have. I'm so glad you all got to be there together. Love you!

George's expression of what are these things you call gloves is priceless. Great picture of the 4 of them looking out the window. And the snowman does look a wee bit evil but a big A+ for the effort. Can't wait to see you guys next week!
