We had a great birthday party for Jack on Wednesday, when all of the local aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents gathered to celebrate. Papa cooked ribs (which Jack loved!) and Grammy made a special birthday bear cake (which Jack also loved!). He had a lot of fun with birthday balloons and some neat presents - a wooden tractor from Grandma Barb, a stuffed moose with the book "If You Give a Moose a Muffin" from Jake and Shelby, some neat outfits from Nick, Katie and Mia, firefighter jammies from Reagan, Adam and Tessa, an activity table from Raleigh and Shane and a fun crayon "Scribble and Sing" (among other things) from Grammy and Papa! Needless to say, he'll have lots to keep him busy for a while! Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate, near and far!
Jack has been having lots of fun with his little girl cousins....Tessa who is almost 3 months old and Mia who is almost 2 months old. He seems like a big, rough-and-tumble boy around those sweet little things and at first he was a little jealous everytime Mommy held one of them in her arms. But now he is doing very well....he tries to give kisses and when we say, "Ah baby," he puts his head on their heads or pats their arms! He's very interested when they start to cry and even tries to pretend he is a tiny baby in Tessa's car seat! We love being around cousins...but miss Luke and Ben and can't wait to be with baby girl Morgan who is due this week!

What a big boy Jack is being a good Big cousin to Tessa and Mia! We love you Jack and wish we could have celebrated your special day with you!
We had an awesome time celebrating"Big Boy" Jack and were so glad we got to be here for his birthday. Can't wait till all the cousins can be together!
