Goodbye Daddy and Hello Aunt Shelby!

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for us. Josh finally got his flight out to Qatar and left at 3:00pm. We miss him so much already! We are grateful for this job opportunity and Jack and I look forward to joining him sometime after December 17th. Jack has had a series of ear infections and needs to have tubes put in. We need to make sure he is completely healed before we travel. In the meantime, we'll send lots of love and hugs to Josh overseas. Please pray for his safety and for us as we make travel arrangements.

The happy part of our day was welcoming a new sister/aunt! Jake married Shelby yesterday and we were so glad we were there to celebrate with them! We already love Shelby and Jack has especially taken a shine to her (and to her dad Bill)! We were missing lots of family members and felt their absence: Josh, Jake and Sarah, the entire Morgan family (whose baby girl is due today!!!) and Shane who is in Air Force Training in Texas. But those of us who were here had a great time! Jack loved all of the activity and new people to meet. He even charmed the audience by getting out on the dance floor a few times and "dancing" to the music on his knees! We had so many great photos, I put them in a montage so that those of you who couldn't be with us would feel like you were almost there!
