Those of us here in town (including Gentry who was home from college) enjoyed a huge feast of food and a great time of fellowship. It was so neat to look around the room and see the babies of the family being held or played with by their aunts and uncles.
Thanksgiving weekend ended on a high note for us with some cooler temperatures and the first fire in the fireplace! We had a cozy Sunday evening watching a Christmas movie, drinking hot chocolate and enjoying the fire. Jack was mesmerized by the flames!
We miss Josh so much! He is doing well in Qatar and is anxious for us to join him. Jack and I will be flying out on December 27th...so we'll have a belated Christmas with him. Please keep him in your prayers as he works lots of hours and shines Christ's light to those around him.
