Jack is getting better and better as a big brother. He is truly loving and is just amazed when George opens his eyes and looks around. Jack touches his feet and says, "Two!" and then his hands and says, "Two!" and then eyes and ears...he doesn't seem to get tired of counting George's body parts! He also likes to try to give him crayons or his toy cars. At night or naptime, we let them fall asleep together and Jack always has a hand on George's arm - like a protector. We are so grateful for a little brother for Jack! Here are some pictures of the two boys together...and one of our first family outing to the local ice cream shop.

Jumpin' Jack and Gentle George
Today was the original due date for George...so strange to think that we've already had him in our arms and home for 10 days! He is such a blessing...sweet natured, a great sleeper and eater, willing to sleep in just about anyone's arms and already enraptured with his big brother Jack! We've always called him "Gentle George", since he was such a gentle mover inside the womb - but it was our midwife Claudia who called the boys "Jumpin' Jack" and "Gentle George" once she got to know them! It seems to fit for us!
